Faxe is a robust double malt produced with mineral-rich natural water that flows from the springs of the town of Faxe, in Denmark; characterized by a slight sweetness balanced by a high percentage of alcohol.
The result is a very balanced product with a "vinous" taste. A strong lager not too sparkling, with a dark golden yellow color that when poured produces a white foam of good density and medium duration. Loaded and rich in taste, Faxe has pronounced hops notes that lead to a pleasantly bitter and herbaceous finish.
Excellent to sip as an alternative to drinks and cocktails, Faxe is also an excellent beer to pair with richly flavored dishes such as frankfurters and hamburgers.
