Furthermore, the Magnum format symbolizes conviviality and sharing, making this wine an ideal choice for special occasions.

The "Messiio" is the result of careful vinification and refining in barriques which aims to enhance the characteristics of the Merlot, without overpowering them. Visually, the wine presents itself with an intense and deep red color. On the nose, the "Messiio" offers a rich bouquet of aromas, where notes of ripe red fruit stand out, such as cherries and plums, enriched by accents of spices, vanilla and chocolate, a distinctive sign of the elegant passage in wood.

In the mouth, the wine amazes with its extraordinary concentration and complexity. The tannins are velvety and well integrated, supported by an acidity that gives freshness and liveliness to the palate. The "Messiio" fully expresses the softness and depth of Merlot, with a long finish that leaves persistent memories of ripe fruit and spicy notes.

Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes, such as roasted red meats, game and mature cheeses, the Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" IGT in Magnum format by Tenuta Fertuna is also an excellent meditation wine, which invites you to discover its many nuances aromatic and tasty.
