First Cognac ever to have been produced by this Maison, the Very Superior Old Pale V.S.O.P comes from the double distillation of Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes. The still used is made of copper, has very ancient origins (dates back to the 18th century!) And is used by the family Peyrot since 1956, to distil the precious Cognac which, in the company barrels, is cradled by long refinements. In the case of this VSOP, the rest in oak barrels lasts for at least 12 years.
Glossy amber yellow color with enchanting golden veins, it certainly deserves to be savored on the nose very delicately and with concentration to savor not only with the taste the variegated notes of vanilla, white pepper and cloves, in an elegant and very kind context. The masterfully well-made sip combines alcohol, power and softness, with a hint of flavor in the second place that makes the difference and reveals all the class and elegance of a great Cognac.
After a long day, the important thing is to know how to relax with elegance and taste. Glass in hand, chair and let yourself be carried away by this Cognac.
