The Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer by Franz Haas is a white wine that captures the essence of the Gewürztraminer vine, enhanced by the particular wine-growing vocation of Alto Adige, a region renowned for the production of white wines of high quality and character. Franz Haas, a winery that for generations has dedicated itself to the pursuit of excellence and the expression of terroir through native and international vines, presents in this Gewürztraminer a perfect synthesis of tradition and innovation.
The wine has an intense straw yellow color, tending towards amber with maturation. On the nose, Franz Haas's Gewürztraminer releases an intense and enveloping aroma, with dominant notes of exotic flowers, lychee, peach and hints of sweet spices such as cinnamon and clove, typical of the vine.
On the palate, the wine surprises with its richness and complexity. The structure is full and enveloping, with a perfect balance between acidity and alcohol, which supports the aromatic intensity and guarantees a long tasting persistence. The finish is aromatic and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness and cleanliness in the mouth.
This Gewürztraminer is ideal in combination with aromatic and spicy dishes, such as Asian cuisine, fish and seafood dishes, foie gras and blue cheeses. Its intensity and complexity also make it an excellent meditation wine.
