The Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" in 18 liter format, presented in a wooden case, is a true symbol of grandeur and prestige on the part of Tenuta Fertuna, an unparalleled demonstration of winemaking mastery and passion for wine. This extraordinary format, known as Balthazar, is not only impressive in size but also represents one of the best expressions of the terroir of the Tuscan Maremma, a region renowned for its ability to produce red wines of character and depth.

Tenuta Fertuna, located in the heart of Maremma, has built its reputation on producing wines that reflect the authenticity and richness of the territory. The "Messiio", a pure Merlot, is the result of a scrupulous selection of the best grapes, which, thanks to the favorable climatic conditions and the richness of the soil, express all the distinctive qualities of this vine.

The wooden case that accompanies this impressive Balthazar format not only protects the wine but also highlights its value and exclusivity, making it a collector's item and a favorite choice for important celebrations or as a meaningful gift for enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

Visually, the "Messiio" catches the eye with its deep and bright ruby red color. On the nose, the wine reveals a complex bouquet of aromas, with notes of ripe red fruit, nuances of aromatic herbs, sweet spices and an elegant touch of oak, the result of aging in barrique which contributes to further enriching the aromatic profile without overpowering the varietal notes.

In the mouth, the Merlot "Messiio" demonstrates extraordinary concentration and complexity, with velvety tannins and a balanced acidity that brings freshness. The richness of red fruit flavors blends with notes of chocolate, coffee and vanilla, culminating in a long and persistent finish that invites reflection.

Ideal for special occasions, the Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" 18Lt in wooden case from Tenuta Fertuna can be tasted in the company of rich and structured dishes, such as elaborate red meats, game-based dishes and mature cheeses, enhancing every culinary experience .

In conclusion, this exceptional format of "Messiio" represents not only a masterpiece of Maremma viticulture but also a symbol of luxury and passion for wine, offering an unforgettable tasting experience that will remain etched in the memory of those lucky enough to taste it.
