Verduzzo Friulano is one of the oldest vines in the region. The Verduzzo vines are cut by expert farmers before they have completed the maturation process. In this way a natural withering of the plant is obtained. Tenuta Luisa cultivates its vines in the town of Mariano del Friuli. To obtain this wine cold maceration is carried out, partly in skins and partly in oak barrels. This is followed by cold static decantation and fermentation for 12 days. After fermentation, the wine is placed on noble lees for 6 months. Finally, after being bottled, it is left to refine for a further 2 months.
While the eyes immediately notice its golden yellow colour, the nose immediately recognizes the scent of honey, fruit and flowers. On the palate it is slightly acidic, but incredibly pleasant.
This wine is perfect paired with all kinds of desserts.
