The Primitivo di Manduria DOP Papale Oro from the Varvaglione winery is a red wine that enchants with its complex structure and aromatic profile deeply connected to the Apulian terroir. Known for its intense, almost ink-like red color, this wine reveals a bouquet rich in ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a slight note of tobacco and chocolate on the nose, imparted by aging in barrique.

On the palate, the Papale Oro stands out for its robust tannic presence, well-balanced by alcohol and a pleasant softness that makes it particularly enveloping. The taste persistence is remarkable, with a long finish that echoes the fruit and spice notes perceived on the nose.

This wine is ideal for accompanying flavor-rich dishes such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses. With its strongly evocative scenic impact, the Primitivo di Manduria DOP Papale Oro represents an excellent choice for special occasions, ensuring a memorable impression. A short decanting period is recommended before serving to enhance all its nuances.
