The Etna Rosso DOC Capu Chiurma by Filippo Grasso is a fine expression of the volcanic territory from which it originates. This wine is the result of a meticulous selection of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, where the mineral-rich soils and altitude bestow unique and distinctive characteristics.

The color of Capu Chiurma is a deep ruby red with garnet hues that intensify with aging. On the nose, the wine unfolds a complex bouquet of aromas: distinct notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and wild strawberries, are paired with nuances of spices, pumice stone, and a light touch of tobacco and chocolate, deriving from wood aging.

On the palate, Filippo Grasso’s Etna Rosso DOC reveals a medium to full body, balanced and well-structured. The elegant tannic texture blends with a lively freshness, typical of Etna wines, leading to a persistent and aromatic finish. This wine shows excellent aging potential, evolving beautifully over several years.

It is recommended to pair with Sicilian dishes, such as pasta alla norma or baked lamb. It is also perfect with aged cheeses and red meats. It is advisable to open the bottle at least an hour before serving to best express its qualities.

Etna Rosso DOC Capu Chiurma is not just a wine, but a true sensory experience that conveys the strength and passion of Etna viticulture, making it a must for wine lovers seeking authentic and true-to-territory productions.
