The Amarone della Valpolicella Vermouth - Cà Rugate Box is an extraordinary example of how wine tradition can meet innovation to create a product that is unique in its kind. This vermouth is produced using Amarone wine, world-renowned for its robustness and aromatic complexity, sourced from the prestigious vineyards of Valpolicella.

On the nose, the Amarone della Valpolicella Vermouth immediately reveals notes of aromatic herbs, among which lemon balm and rosemary stand out, enriched by an undertone of sweet spices like cinnamon and clove. The addition of selected botanicals, such as gentian root and wormwood, further emphasizes the aromatic profile, creating an intriguing and pleasantly complex bouquet.

On the palate, the product displays an impeccable balance between the initial sweetness and a refined bitter finish, typical of high-quality vermouths. The texture is velvety and rich, also thanks to the use of Amarone, which contributes to a generous body and a long and satisfying finish.

Furthermore, the presentation in an elegant box makes the Amarone della Valpolicella Vermouth from Cà Rugate an excellent choice for a sophisticated gift or to add a touch of class to one’s spirit collection. Perfect to serve as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with savory snacks or can be used as a base for refined cocktails.

The Cà Rugate winery, renowned for its dedication to quality and innovation, with this product confirms its commitment to preserving the tradition of the Valpolicella territory while presenting it in a surprisingly new and charming form.

Winery history
The Tessari family has been cultivating vineyards in the area for over a century; the Ca' Rugate label first appeared on bottles in 1986. In 2001 Michele Tessari, the fourth generation of the family, launched a project to reorganize the estate and expand the vineyards, and the new winery in Montecchia di Crosara was inaugurated in 2002. Over the years the estate has developed wine‑tourism activities and created a wine museum to tell the family's agricultural history.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard is a priority: sustainable management and low-impact practices to enhance native varieties and the expression of the terroir. Since 2004 the estate has adopted more sustainable agronomic methods and demonstrates a commitment to traceability and preserving the local character. Since 2013 it has been part of Indipendenti del Soave.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Val d'Alpone and on land well suited to Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. The soils have a volcanic and calcareous‑basaltic composition typical of the Soave area; some parcels lie on ridges and terraces with steep slopes and average elevations of around 400–450 meters above sea level.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national and international awards, including several 'Tre Bicchieri' from the Gambero Rosso guide for the winery's wines, and medals/recognitions at international competitions also dedicated to mountain and heroic wines.
