Produced in the renowned area of Asti, this Superiore "Chersi" is the result of a careful selection of the best Barbera grapes, enhanced by a refinement that intensifies its character and complexity.
Visually, it has a deep ruby red color, with violet hues. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with intense aromas of red fruits, such as cherries and plums, combined with notes of spices, vanilla and a light hint of toasted wood, the result of its aging in barrique.
On the palate, this Barbera d'Asti Superiore reveals a robust but balanced structure. The tannins are present but soft, and the typical acidity of the Barbera grape gives freshness and liveliness to the wine. There are flavors of ripe red fruit, spices and a light roasting, which combine in a long and pleasant finish.
