This wine is made exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, selected with great care in the best vineyards in the area, and represents the passion and experience of the Melini winery in the production of high quality wines.
Visually, it has an intense ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, it offers a complex and deep bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices, tobacco and chocolate, as well as an elegant touch of vanilla and leather, the result of long barrel aging.
On the palate, this Brunello is rich and powerful, but at the same time elegant and well-structured. The tannins are robust but refined, the acidity is well balanced, and the wine develops intense flavors of red fruit, spices and balsamic notes, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of complexity and harmony.
Ideal for accompanying rich and intense dishes, such as roasted red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, Melini's Brunello di Montalcino is also a perfect wine for special occasions or as a meditation wine, to be enjoyed slowly to appreciate them all the nuances.
