The Montepulciano The seasons of the wine of Cantine Spinelli comes from 90% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and 10% Sangiovese grapes.

The vineyards are located in the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea, in a hilly area, with an average altitude of 230 meters above sea level, on predominantly clay-limestone soils. After the manual harvest, the bunches are destemmed and softly pressed, followed by a long maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature.

The 12-month refinement is carried out in large Slavonian oak barrels, and a short period in the bottle. The result is an excellent harmonious and fruity wine, respectful of all the flavors of the cuisine.
It is proud in its intense ruby red color with violet reflections. With deep aromas of ripe red fruit, dense floral notes of wild violet and rose, a sweet and spicy finish.

Of great structure, with a warm, full flavor rich in fruity notes. An ideal companion for typical Mediterranean cuisine and beyond, it goes perfectly with first courses with meat sauces and grilled red and white meats. Excellent with medium-aged cheeses.
