The Rosso Toscana IGT "Oreno" from Tenuta Sette Ponti is a red wine of great expression and character, synonymous with excellence in Tuscan wine production. This wine stands out for its complex varietal composition, being a masterfully balanced blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot.

With its intense ruby red color, "Oreno" presents a rich and enveloping olfactory bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits such as sour cherries and plums emerge, enriched by nuances of sweet spices, vanilla, and a light touch of tobacco and dark chocolate, a result of its maturation in French oak barrels.

On the palate, the wine is structured and full-bodied, with elegantly integrated tannins and well-balanced acidity that promises excellent aging potential. The taste persistence is remarkable, leaving a feeling of fullness and complexity that invites another sip.

Ideal with rich dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses, "Oreno" is also a wine that can be enjoyed on its own, thanks to its deep intensity and aromatic complexity.

Tenuta Sette Ponti, located in the heart of Tuscany, is renowned for producing wines that represent an authentic tribute to the land and Italian winemaking tradition, and "Oreno" is one of their most celebrated expressions. This wine is the result of a scrupulous selection of grapes and a careful winemaking process that aims to enhance the unique qualities of the Tuscan terroir.

Discover the story and wines of Tenuta Sette Ponti.

Tuscan winery located in Castiglion Fibocchi (Valdarno di Sopra, Arezzo), known for high-quality wines such as Oreno (Bordeaux blend) and Crognolo (Sangiovese-based).
Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese
Oreno: flagship label, first vintage 1999; a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties planted on the estate at the direction of Antonio Moretti Cuseri. Crognolo: first released in 1998, an expression of the estate's Sangiovese. Vigna dell'Impero: a historic vineyard planted in 1935, vinified as a single-varietal and used for a cru of the estate. Vineyards managed under organic farming. Located at Via Sette Ponti 71, 52029 Castiglion Fibocchi.
Winery history
The estate is associated with the Moretti Cuseri family: the modern foundations of its winemaking activity were established in the 20th century with historic vineyards, including the 'Vigna dell’Impero' planted in 1935. In the 1990s the estate began producing its own wines with its first labels, and in recent years management has passed to the family's third generation. The name refers to the via dei sette ponti that links the banks of the Arno between Florence and Arezzo.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of quality and elegance, with a focus on respect for the land and agronomic practices: the vineyards are managed organically, as stated by the estate. The approach combines Tuscan tradition and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
Location: Castiglion Fibocchi, Valdarno di Sopra, a hilly area between Florence and Arezzo. The landscape is characterized by historic vineyards, woodlands and watercourses linked to the local history.
Awards and recognitions
