Winery history
The winery was founded by Francesco Paolo Avallone in the 1960s with the aim of bringing the legendary Falerno del Massico back to life. Management passed to the next generation of the family, who expanded the project by extending vineyards and production across the hills of the Massico, the Sannio and Irpinia.
Production philosophy
An approach that combines historical roots and research: quality, sustainability and respect for the land guide viticultural and winemaking choices. The focus is on expressing the terroir, avoiding standardized production and experimenting with both modern techniques and traditional aging.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the slopes of the extinct Roccamonfina volcano, in the hills of the Sannio and the highlands of Irpinia; administrative headquarters and winery in Cellole, Campania, Italy.
