The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC from the Velenosi winery is offered in a convenient 3-liter "Bag in Box" solution, ideal for preserving the wine's freshness and ensuring ease of everyday use. The Montepulciano grapes used for this wine come from lush Abruzzese vineyards, renowned for their fertile soil that nourishes the vines, imparting them with a robust integrity and a vibrant expression of aromas.

Upon tasting, Velenosi's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo reveals a decisive and well-structured character. Its deep ruby red color with violet hues indicates excellent youth. The nose is greeted by a bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, enriched by hints of violets and a subtle vein of sweet spices due to careful aging in wooden containers that add complexity without overpowering the fruit.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with an excellent tannic texture that balances the natural acidity. The persistent aftertaste offers pleasant sensations of fruit and spices, promising a beautiful evolution if stored correctly. Thanks to its balanced structure, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo pairs well with robust dishes such as grilled red meats, meat sauce pasta, and medium-aged cheeses.

The choice of the Bag in Box format is also an advantage not only for its preservation and convenience but also for its reduced environmental impact, making the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC from Velenosi an excellent choice for those who love quality without compromising sustainability.
