The Verdicchio di Matelica DOC - Terre di Valbona from the Belisario winery represents an excellent example of the ability of this indigenous Marche grape variety to express freshness and complexity. This wine is produced from prestigious vineyards located in the Matelica plateau, an area recognized for its unique microclimate that favors a slow and complete ripening of the grapes, ensuring a notable aromatic richness.

With a straw yellow color and greenish reflections, the Verdicchio di Matelica DOC opens on the nose with intense aromas of white-fleshed fruits, floral notes of acacia and chamomile, and a slight hint of minerality reminiscent of flint stone. This wine captivates with its elegance and balance, presenting a well-balanced structure on the palate that is at once round and lively.

On the palate, the acidity is well integrated and supported by a pleasant sapidity that prolongs the aromatic persistence, making it an excellent companion for delicate fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. It also makes an excellent aperitif thanks to its unaltered freshness.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 8-10°C. The Verdicchio di Matelica DOC - Terre di Valbona is capable of evolving well even after several years of bottle aging, gaining complexity and toasted nuances that astonish the taster. A wine that expresses the purity and elegance of its territory, ideal for lovers of refined and characteristic white wines.
