The Barolo DOCG produced by the Massolino winery is an authentic and profound expression of the Serralunga d'Alba territory, in the heart of the Barolo area. The Massolino family, for generations, has dedicated passion and expertise to the production of wines that reflect the richness and complexity of their terroir, maintaining an indissoluble bond with tradition and at the same time adopting innovative techniques to improve the quality of the product.

The Massolino winery makes use of vineyards located in some of the most prestigious sub-areas of Barolo, benefiting from calcareous-clayey soils which give the wines a solid structure and a marked minerality. Meticulous care of the vineyards, attention to detail at every stage of production and the balanced use of modern and traditional techniques are at the heart of Massolino's philosophy.

The vinification of Massolino's Barolo DOCG follows principles that aim to preserve the integrity of the fruit and enhance the typical characteristics of Nebbiolo, the symbolic grape variety of the region. After manual harvesting, the grapes are subjected to controlled fermentation, followed by aging in large oak barrels, which varies from 24 to 30 months. This process allows the wine to develop a wide range of aromas and achieve a perfect balance between power and finesse.

Massolino's Barolo DOCG stands out for its rich and complex olfactory profile, with notes of cherry, rose, spices and undergrowth, enriched by nuances of tobacco and leather. On the palate, it offers a vigorous structure, supported by ripe tannins and a well-balanced acidity, which gives freshness and dynamism to the sip. The long aromatic persistence and depth of flavors testify to the excellent aging capacity of this wine.

Massolino's Barolo DOCG represents a tribute to the history and wine culture of Piedmont, offering a unique sensorial experience that tells of the Massolino family's passion for their land and their work. The limited production and scrupulous attention to every detail make each bottle an example of oenological excellence, appreciated by wine lovers around the world.

se altre bottiglie della stessa cantina le bevo volentieri a cena con gli amici, questa la preferisco da sola. se non si è capito mi piace
