The Enantio Riserva DOC - Terredeiforti Pre-Phylloxera from Cantina Roeno is an extraordinarily exclusive red wine that captures the essence of ancient pre-phylloxera vines, cultivated in the Terre dei Forti valley. This wine is produced in limited quantities, as it benefits from vines that have survived the phylloxera epidemic of the 19th century, thereby adding rarity and additional value to the resulting nectar.

Enantio, an indigenous grape variety of this particular region of Trentino Alto Adige, is grown on poor, rocky soils that enhance the concentration and complexity of the fruit. The winemaking process is traditional, with a long maceration of the skins, followed by maturation in oak barrels that enrich the wine with well-integrated woody notes.

Upon tasting, the Enantio Riserva DOC reveals a robust and complex structure. The aromatic palette is dense with nuances, including notes of ripe berries, plums, spicy accents of black pepper, and an elegant undertone of tobacco and leather. The palate is enveloped by velvety tannins and a lively freshness that leads to a long and persistent finish, with an aftertaste that evokes the earth and the minerality of the soils from which it originates.

Ideal to accompany dishes of red meats, game, and matured cheeses, the Enantio Riserva is a wine that expresses itself best after a proper period of decantation, revealing all its capabilities in the glass. Serve at a temperature of about 18°C to enhance its qualities. A meditation wine, it's also perfect for aging in the cellar over the coming years, evolving and improving over time.
