Parisian Absinthe France's most traditional absinthe, born in 1915, immediately after prohibition, a liqueur extraordinary that has thrilled the likes of Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh. It is produced in the Rhône-Alpes region, using 9 herbs and spices including the ever-present artemisia, star anise and cumin.
It has a very light, almost transparent greenish color. The olfactory profile denotes hints of aromatic herbs, aniseed and spices, with light notes of spirit that come from the high alcohol content.
Diluted with water and sugar, it lightens its powerful flavor and proves to be an excellent digestif; also perfect for composing some cocktails.
