From the pulsating heart of the Scottish lands, where the tradition of whisky is more than just production but a true cultural heritage, Machrie Moor is born. This whisky stands out for its unique character, being one of the few peated versions produced by the distillery that overlooks the mysterious stone circle of Machrie Moor on the Isle of Arran.

The 70cl bottle, elegantly encased, holds a golden liquid with amber reflections, the result of meticulous craftsmanship. On the nose, Machrie Moor reveals smoky notes reminiscent of wet peat and burnt wood, but with a surprising balance that makes it inviting and not oppressive. The maritime influence is evident with nuances of salt and iodine that interweave with hints of vanilla and dried fruit.

On the palate, Machrie Moor surprises with its complexity: the peat is present without overwhelming, allowing notes of malt, milk chocolate, and a light touch of citrus to progressively emerge. The finish is long and smoky, with a pleasant spicy aftertaste that enchants the palate and invites another sip.

This whisky lends itself beautifully to being sipped alone, perhaps accompanied by a bit of water to enhance its aromas, as well as serving as a base for smoky and intense cocktails. Ideal for lovers of peated whisky, Machrie Moor is a fascinating testament to the Scottish savoir-faire in distillation and how peat can be masterfully tamed to create a product of exceptional quality.
