Bianco Montefiascone DOP Poggio dei Gelsi - Cotarella is born in the heart of the Lazio region, where the gentle hills around Lake Vico offer a unique terroir. This wine, made from traditional grape varieties such as Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Verdicchio, stands out for its freshness and moderate minerality, features that reflect the temperate climate and volcanic soils of the area.

The aging takes place in steel, preserving the liveliness of the fruity and floral aromas that elegantly emerge on the nose. On the palate, it is harmonious, light, and easy to drink, with a pleasant sapidity that enhances its dynamism and cleanliness.

Perfect as a companion to light appetizers, fresh fish, and Mediterranean cuisine dishes, Montefiascone of Cotarella expresses the typicality of a denomination still little known but of great value, capable of offering pleasant surprises to those who love authentic and characterful white wine.

Winery history
The family's roots date back to the 1960s; brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella founded the Falesco project in 1979. The company has also conducted research and initiatives to recover local grape varieties such as Roscetto.
