The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC from Monte Zovo is an Italian red wine that perfectly embodies the winemaking tradition of the Valpolicella region, combining quality and character in a unique sensory experience. Produced following the traditional "ripasso" method, this wine offers complexity and structure that reflect its distinctive vinification process.

Visually, the Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC presents an intense ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, it reveals a rich and enveloping aromatic bouquet, where notes of ripe cherries, sweet spices like vanilla, and a slight hint of tobacco stand out. These aromas harmoniously integrate with the scents derived from the second fermentation on the Amarone pomace.

On the palate, the body of the wine is robust yet balanced, with a pleasant softness that makes the sip velvety and persistent. The tannins are well-structured but delicate, and the acidity is balanced, leading to a long and pleasantly spicy finish. This excellent structure makes Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore a perfect wine to accompany rich red meat dishes, roasts, and aged cheeses.

The Monte Zovo winery, attentive to quality and sustainability, carefully manages every phase of the production process with dedication, from the manual selection of the grapes to the vinification, thus ensuring a product that expresses the spirit of the Valpolicella territory. This incredible wine offers a combination of traditional taste and modern winemaking technology, making it ideal for wine enthusiasts seeking an authentic and high-quality experience.
