The Barolo Riserva 7 years DOCG "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" represents a pinnacle in the production of Barolo, offering an extraordinary expression of the Nebbiolo grape in one of its most prestigious interpretations. This wine, the result of a careful selection of the best grapes from the famous "Pianpolvere Soprano" vineyard in the Bussia sub-area of Monforte d'Alba, is a tribute to the richness and complexity that only the finest Barolos can express.

The 7-year Reserve indicates an extended maturation period that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements for the Barolo DOCG denomination, ensuring an evolution of the wine capable of developing a depth and aromatic range of exceptional richness. This long aging, part of which takes place in oak barrels, allows the wine to fully harmonize its components, softening the tannins of the Nebbiolo and perfectly integrating the fruit aromas with the more evolved and tertiary ones, typical of the great aged Piedmontese reds.

At sight, the Barolo Riserva "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" shows the classic garnet color, with orange nuances that intensify with age. The nose is inviting and complex, with notes of ripe cherry, berries, floral hints of dried rose and violet, enriched by nuances of tobacco, leather, spices and a light mineral trace. These aromas intertwine harmoniously, testifying to the high quality of the grapes and the winemaking mastery.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates extraordinary concentration, with a robust but elegant tannic structure, balanced by an acidity that gives freshness and liveliness. The complexity of the palate evolves towards a long and persistent finish, where the fruity, spicy and more evolved notes emerge again, leaving a sensation of great satisfaction and fullness.

Ideal in combination with intense and structured dishes, such as roasted red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, the Barolo Riserva "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" is destined to become the centerpiece of a refined table, offering a tasting experience in able to excite the most demanding wine lovers and testify to the greatness of the Barolo area.
