The blend of Carlos I Imperial XO is carefully selected and includes distillates aged up to 20 years. The aging takes place in oak barrels that previously contained Jerez wines, through the system of soleras and criaderas, a traditional Spanish method that ensures superior quality and consistency for each batch.
This process endows the brandy with a deep amber color and a rich, complex aroma. On the nose, there are distinct notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and cocoa, with nuances of sweet spices and toasted wood. On the palate, Carlos I Imperial XO is extremely harmonious, featuring a velvety texture and a perfect balance between sweetness and aromatic strength. Flavors of hazelnut, chocolate, and a gentle touch of cinnamon lead to a long and rewarding finish, with a lingering aftertaste that invites another sip.
