The Barolo DOCG "Brunate" by Vietti is an extraordinary example of how the Nebbiolo grape can best express its potential in one of the most prestigious terroirs in the Barolo area. The Brunate vineyard, located in the municipality of La Morra, is famous for its optimal exposure and its unique soil, which give the wine an unparalleled complexity and finesse. Vietti, a winery with a long history and tradition in the production of high quality wines in Piedmont, interprets this cru with mastery, giving life to a Barolo of great elegance and depth.

Barolo "Brunate" has an intense garnet red color, with reflections that tend towards orange with maturation. On the nose, the wine reveals a rich bouquet of aromas, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, together with hints of withered flowers, spices, tobacco and a delicate touch of leather, all elements that blend into an olfactory profile of extraordinary complexity.

In the mouth, Vietti's "Brunate" shows a powerful but at the same time refined structure, with silky and well-integrated tannins that support its elegant texture. The acidity is lively and well balanced, contributing to a long tasting persistence and a broad and memorable finish, characterized by a return of the aromatic notes perceived on the nose, with additions of minerality and a light balsamic hint.

This Barolo is ideal in combination with structured and intense dishes, such as red meats, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses. It is also a wine that lends itself beautifully to ageing, capable of developing further levels of complexity and nuance over time.
