The Chablis AOC Les Montmains - Domaine Laroche is a white wine that comes from one of the most renowned producers in the Chablis region, in Burgundy, France. This area is famous for its Chardonnay wines, which stand out for their purity, minerality and elegance, the result of a unique terroir characterized by soil rich in limestone and marine fossils. The "Les Montmains" climat is one of the Premier Crus of Chablis, recognized for its ability to produce wines of particular finesse and complexity.

Domaine Laroche's Chablis Premier Cru Les Montmains best expresses the distinctive characteristics of its terroir. The winemaking takes place with great care, following traditional methods which allow us to preserve the freshness and aromatic intensity of the Chardonnay grape. In some cases, moderate wood aging may be used to add complexity to the wine without overpowering its natural mineral and fruity notes.

At sight, the wine has a light straw yellow color, typical of Chablis. On the nose, Les Montmains offers a rich and vibrant bouquet, with notes of citrus, white pulp fruit, flowers and a marked minerality reminiscent of flint, a typical expression of the calcareous soil of Chablis. These olfactory characteristics are accompanied by a light nuance of vanilla and sweet spices, if the wine has been partially aged in wood.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates extraordinary elegance and balance, with an acidic freshness that supports the flavors of lemon, green apple and minerals, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and freshness on the palate. Its structure and complexity make it an ideal companion for fish dishes, seafood, white meats and goat's cheeses.
