The Valpolicella Amarone Classico - Historic Vintages by the Clementi winery is a rare gem that embodies the essence of the historical region of Valpolicella. Produced from a meticulous selection of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, this Amarone stands out for its "appassimento" production method, which involves drying the grapes before fermentation to concentrate sugars and aromas.

The hand-harvested grapes undergo a careful drying process, followed by a long maturation in wooden barrels that enriches the wine with intense and enveloping notes. The result is a deep red, almost impenetrable Amarone della Valpolicella that entices the nose with aromas of ripe fruit, such as cherry liqueur and plums, enhanced by hints of sweet spices, chocolate, and tobacco.

On the palate, the Valpolicella Amarone Classico - Historic Vintages - Clementi reveals itself as rich and powerful, yet elegantly balanced, with a perfect harmony between acidity, soft tannins, and a persistent finish that leaves room for a complex range of taste sensations.

This wine is ideal for accompanying structured and rich dishes such as braised meats, stews, and aged cheeses. Even as a solo meditation, it can offer an unforgettable sensory experience. It is advisable to decant it for a few hours before serving to enhance all its characteristics.

Stored in the cellar under ideal conditions, the Valpolicella Amarone Classico - Historic Vintages - Clementi is a wine that can continue to evolve well for years, promising elegant and rewarding aging. A true treasure for wine enthusiasts and an exhilarating example of Valpolicella's winemaking excellence.
