Produced with meticulous attention to detail, the Franciacorta Vintage Collection Extra Brut is primarily composed of Chardonnay grapes, supplemented with small percentages of Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco, sourced from some of the finest vineyards in the Franciacorta region. The grapes are handpicked and gently pressed, then fermented in small stainless steel containers and subsequently in oak barrels.
After fermentation, the wine is left to mature on its lees for at least 42 months, a period during which it develops complexity, structure, and a fine perlage that make it distinctive.
