The Barbera d'Alba DOC by Albino Rocca is a wine that enhances the typicality and versatility of the Barbera vine, expertly interpreted by the Albino Rocca winery. This company, located in the heart of the Langhe, a wine-growing region of Piedmont famous throughout the world, stands out for the production of wines that are an authentic expression of the territory and its rich winemaking tradition.
The wine has an intense and lively ruby red color, which anticipates its olfactory and gustatory qualities. On the nose, Albino Rocca's Barbera d'Alba offers a rich and fruity bouquet, with dominant notes of cherry, plum and blueberries, enriched by nuances of spices and a light touch of vanilla, the result of aging in wood which adds complexity without overpower the fruity aroma.
In the mouth, the wine reveals a balanced structure, with an acidity typical of the Barbera grape which gives freshness and liveliness to the sip. The tannins are soft and well integrated, making this wine pleasantly drinkable when young, but also capable of some aging. The finish is clean and persistent, with a return of the fruity notes perceived on the nose.
