The Montebello Vieux 10 years Brut de Fut is an exemplary rum distillate, produced on the island of Guadeloupe. This rum is aged for a decade in selected oak barrels, which were previously used for aging whisky. The uniqueness of "Brut de Fut" is that the rum is bottled directly from the barrel without any dilution, thus preserving all its original qualities and concentration of flavors.
The result is a dark amber-colored rum, which reveals a complex and enveloping bouquet to the nose. Notes of cocoa, tobacco, and fine wood are balanced by nuances of dried fruit such as plums and figs. On the palate, the Montebello Vieux 10 years Brut de Fut impresses with its robust body and a fullness of flavor that faithfully reflects the scents perceived olfactorily. The intense aromas of vanilla and spices blend beautifully with more delicate traces of molasses and leather.
