Vermentino IGT Orange by Tenuta Fertuna is a surprising interpretation of the Vermentino grape, which explores the potential of this variety through the white winemaking technique with prolonged contact on the skins, typical of "orange" or macerated wines. Located in the Tuscan Maremma, a region with a rich wine tradition and ideal land for viticulture, Tenuta Fertuna carries out an innovative project that combines passion for the territory with oenological experimentation, creating a wine that breaks away from traditional patterns to offer a new experience sensory.

The vinification of this Vermentino "Orange" involves natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a maceration period on the skins that varies from a few days to several weeks. This process not only gives the wine its characteristic amber color, but also enriches the aromatic and gustatory profile, giving greater structure, complexity and notable aromatic expressiveness.

Visually, Vermentino IGT Orange presents itself with a bright and inviting amber color, which announces its uniqueness. On the nose, the wine offers an intense and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe fruit such as apricot and peach, accents of candied citrus, sweet spices, dried flowers and a marked mineral vein, enriched by herbaceous and nut nuances that add depth .

In the mouth, the wine surprises with its structure and complexity, with a rich and enveloping texture. The acidity is well balanced by the tactile sensation that the maceration on the skins leaves on the palate, contributing to an intense and persistent sip. The flavors reflect the olfactory sensations, with a particular emphasis on fruity, citrus and spicy notes, leading to a long and distinctly mineral finish.

Ideal as a meditation wine or paired with rich fish dishes, white meats, mature cheeses and spicy ethnic dishes, Tenuta Fertuna's Vermentino IGT Orange is a bold choice for wine lovers seeking out-of-the-ordinary experiences capable of stimulating curiosity and to offer a new perspective on the potential of the Vermentino grape.
