The Chardonnay Sicilia DOC "Conte Hugues" produced by Tenuta Rapitalà is a white wine that enhances the versatility and elegance of the Chardonnay grape, perfectly adapted to the Sicilian terroir. This wine represents a wonderful example of how an international grape variety can express itself in a unique and characteristic way in Sicily, thanks to the climatic conditions and soil of the island.

Visually, Conte Hugues has a bright straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that suggest freshness and liveliness. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of white pulp fruit, such as apple and pear, enriched by nuances of white flowers, vanilla and a light touch of toasting, the result of the elegant passage in barrique.

On the palate, this Chardonnay is rich and creamy, but at the same time surprisingly fresh and balanced. Ripe fruit flavors blend with notes of butter and vanilla, with a subtle minerality that adds complexity and a long, lingering finish.
