Directly from the refined vineyards located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, Ribolla Gialla DOC is a white wine that elegantly manifests the expression of its native territory. Produced by the La Viarte estate, which cultivates its grapes using methods that respect the natural cycle of the vines, this wine is the result of meticulous attention and care throughout the vinification process.

On the nose, La Viarte's Ribolla Gialla unfolds a sophisticated and complex bouquet, with vibrant notes of ripe yellow fruits, such as peaches and apricots, intertwined with hints of white flowers and a slight herbal touch that evokes the scent of fresh field herbs. On the palate, the wine is exemplary for its liveliness and freshness. Its natural acidity balances harmoniously with a pleasant minerality that extends its taste into a persistent and stimulating finish.

Perfectly balanced to be enjoyed young, Ribolla Gialla DOC is also capable of evolving well for several years. Served chilled, it is ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, shellfish, and Asian cuisine with moderate spiciness.

This wine not only represents an elegant choice for any occasion, but it also stands as a testament to La Viarte's dedication in producing wines that are sincere expressions of their place of origin, full of territorial character and elegance. A true gem of Friuli, promising to captivate the palate and enrich the table with its distinctive personality.

Winery history
La Viarte was established as a production company in the Colli Orientali del Friuli and is recorded as having been founded in 1973. Over the years it has developed dedicated ranges and, in 2023, returned to public attention thanks to a new management phase with the arrival of the Polegato family, who relaunched the company while maintaining its focus on the local area.
Production philosophy
The winery places respect for the territory, the enhancement of native grape varieties, and a detail-oriented cellar approach at its core: targeted winemaking by type, selective use of oak for red wines, and limited production to emphasize quality and territorial identity.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located on the hills of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, near the border with Slovenia. The vineyards grow on marly-sandy soils, which impart structure and minerality to the wines.
