Domane Wachau Winery

Domane Wachau is an Austrian cooperative located in the district of Wachau; it is one of the best known and most important oenological production companies. Roman Horvath is the president at the helm of the winery, who sees at his side the presence of a highly qualified staff, in addition to the expert oenologist Heinz Frischenburgere and the numerous members who make it up.

Domane Wachau is today a symbol of quality Austrian wine known all over the world. Among the relevant factors useful to decree the success achieved today by the winery, there are certainly the geographical location and the pedoclimatic characteristics of a territory considered among the most suitable in Austria for viticulture; it is in fact a total of 440 hectares of vineyards arranged on terraces overlooking the banks of the Danube.

Many of the labels are born from a single variety and are produced by vinification in steel, in full respect of local traditions, to maximize the richness and organoleptic properties of the wonderful Austrian terroir of Wachau.
