Masi Winery

The story begins in 1772, when the Boscaini family buys precious vineyards in the small valley called “Vaio dei Masi”. Hence the name of the company, still owned by the family, which, after over 200 years of passionate work, is actively involved today with the sixth and seventh generations.

Rooted in Valpolicella Classica, the Masi winery produces and distributes Amarone and other fine wines inspired by the values of the Venetian territory. The use of native grapes and methods, and the great research and experimentation activity make it one of the best known and most appreciated Italian producers of excellent wines in the world (over 120 countries).

A reference in the art of Amarone production worldwide, Masi is constantly handing down and innovating the technique ofdrying of the grapes, known since the times of the ancient Romans.

For over forty years it has launched an ambitious project to enhance historic wine estates, collaborating with:

  • the Counts Serego Alighieri, descendants of the poet Dante, owners of the estate that can boast the longest history and tradition in Valpolicella
  • the Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, a prestigious Trentino brand
  • Canevel, producer of excellent sparkling wines in Valdobbiadene.
Masi also owns the organic farms Poderi del Bello Ovile in Tuscany and Masi Tupungato in Argentina.
