The history of this winery originates in 1899 from a small winery on the Paduan farms; a story of generations that change and of responsibility and tradition that is handed down from father to daughter.

Starting from the 90s, the company has always been attentive to the search for new trends beyond fashions ever since, begins a work of revaluation of autochthonous vines, hitherto little valued. It is 1992 and Piera Martellozzo, hence the name of the company Piera1899, is commissioned by his father to manage the company.

In two decades, after having transferred and consolidated its headquarters in Friuli Grave where the mountains to the north and the Adriatic to the south make the microclimate particularly suitable for the cultivation of vines, the company will become one of the reference wineries in the North East of Italy. .

For over twenty-five years Piera has been leading the company with determination and kindness, welcoming tradition and at the same time looking to the future; with the aim of obtaining the best possible quality in wines characterized by pleasantness and combinability and able to compete with the greatest winemaking traditions in the world.

Its wines are born with the ambition to tell and bring the quintessence of the territory to international markets. In 1998 he introduced the first line of organic wines; he was among the first to experiment on the subject, thus leading the way to the most current consumer trends.
