The history of the Poderi dal Nespoli winery began in 1920 when Attilio Ravaioli inaugurated his restaurant in Cusercoli: the "Da Tilio" tavern. The splendid location immersed in the valley bathed by the Bidente, and the exceptional Romagna gastronomic proposals, mean that in a short time the restaurant becomes a real meeting place in great demand. Not least was the quality and the demand for the house wine produced by Attilio himself, so much so that at the end of the lunch there were many customers, especially Bolognese tourists who love fishing, used to buy bulk wine to take home.

The growing demand for wine led Attilio, in 1929, to expand the cellar. In the following years, the sons Amleto and Antonio joined the business and decided to abandon the management of the restaurant and devote themselves exclusively to the production of wine. With the purchase of Podere Prugneto, the label F.lli Ravaioli was also born.

In the mid-1960s it was Valerio, son of Amleto, who gave a great boost to the business by baptizing Prugneto, a superior Sangiovese from a single vineyard aged for the first time in French barriques. The company continued its expansion and in the 1980s new land was purchased in the Nespoli area and the property was restored. With the third generation, the F.lli Ravaioli company becomes "Azienda Agricola Poderi dal Nespoli".

In 2004 the fourth generation arrives in the company with Celita, daughter of Valerio, who since childhood has grown up in the vineyards and in the cellar, observing her grandfather, her father and uncle making wine and participating in the grape harvests. With the skills acquired, Celita marks a great milestone for the company in 2006 and 2007, winning the coveted award: 3 glasses of Gambero Rosso.

Since 2009 Poderi del Nespoli has become part of the MGM group (Mondodelvino).
