Winery history André Jacquart

The Jacquart family has been linked to Champagne for generations: André Jacquart began bottling in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in 1958; the operational headquarters later moved to Vertus in the early 2000s, and the fifth generation now run the house, bringing renewal and a focus on sustainability.

Production philosophy

The stated objective is to showcase the terroir: fermentations in Burgundian barriques, no malolactic fermentation, very low or zero dosage and extended aging to produce precise, mineral and age-worthy wines. The estate has also adopted sustainable viticultural practices and obtained HVE 3 certification.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards and winery are located in the Côte des Blancs, with significant parcels in the Grand Cru Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger and the Premier Cru Vertus: calcareous soils that impart minerality and freshness to the Chardonnay.
