Winery history Bertè & Cordini

The current estate continues the legacy of Cantina Francesco Montagna: the historic property dates back to the late 19th century, and the Bertè and Cordini families acquired the estate in the second half of the 20th century. In the years since, management has remained family-run and dedicated ranges have been developed, alongside a particular focus on the production of Traditional Method sparkling wines.

Production philosophy

Quality-focused approach from vineyard care to winemaking: a detailed oenological method to enhance varietal and terroir characteristics, with particular focus on Metodo Classico sparkling wines and the historic crus of Oltrepò Pavese.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in the Oltrepò Pavese, with vineyards cultivated in the municipalities of Montù Beccaria and Zenevredo. Soils are mainly marly, with clay and limestone, and elevations range from approximately 150 to 280 metres above sea level.
