Winery history Cappellano

The Cappellano family's tradition began with notary Filippo Cappellano and has continued for generations in the Serralunga d’Alba area. A major development in the winery's historical reputation is linked to Giuseppe Cappellano, the family's pharmacist, who is credited with inventing Barolo Chinato. During the 20th century the family-run operation was reduced in scale but maintained a strong focus on quality and territorial identity.
