Winery history Castello di Titignano

The buildings of Titignano date back to the Middle Ages and were historically part of a large agricultural estate later acquired by the Corsini family. In the 20th century the property specialized in agricultural production. Since 2015, management has been renewed under the leadership of Marchese Giovanni Incisa della Rocchetta and his wife, who modernized infrastructure and business operations.

Production philosophy

Combining the enhancement of historical and landscape heritage with hospitality and agricultural production: the Castle offers accommodation, dining and local experiences, while wine production is carried out at the nearby Tenuta di Salviano, with a focus on the area's typical character and local wines.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in the hamlet of Titignano in Umbria. Vineyards are spread along Lake Corbara and on tuffaceous/volcanic soils; they lie at approximately 300–500 m above sea level with predominantly southwest-facing exposure.
