Winery Cazé-Thibaut

Long-established family winery: the Cazé family has cultivated vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne for generations. Maison Cazé‑Thibaut dates back to the first commercial release of its bottles by Roger Cazé in 1953; the current project under the name Cazé‑Thibaut is led by Fabien Cazé, who began producing its own labels with the 2013 vintage.

Terroir-focused and low-impact practices: manual work in the vineyard, no systematic use of herbicides or insecticides, organic practices. In the winery spontaneous fermentations are favored, wood aging for some cuvées, little or no fining/filtration, and dosage calibrated by tasting.

Vineyards located in small parcels in the villages of Châtillon-sur-Marne and Vandières, on the right bank of the Vallée de la Marne, southwest of Reims.
