Winery history Château Saint-Maur

The property is located in the Massif des Maures near Cogolin. The current residence was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and takes its name from an ancient monastery that stood on the site. Over time the estate has been awarded the Cru Classé designation and, under the ownership of Domaines Roger Zannier, has invested in the cellar and in replanting to enhance the terroir and the quality of its cuvées.

Production philosophy

Pursuit of quality and elegance through meticulous vineyard care, modern winemaking and attention to the origin of individual parcels; the project includes converting the vineyard to organic farming and promoting a luxury experience connected to the territory.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards situated in the Maures hills, on varied soils that benefit from Mediterranean and maritime influences; the area includes parcels such as Clos Saint-Vincent and Clos de Capelune.

Awards and recognitions

Cru Classé designation — one of the 18 classified estates in Provence; a well-established recognition for the estate's cuvées.
