Winery history Vinicola Cherchi

The winery originated from the work of Giovanni "Billia" Cherchi, who, beginning in the 1970s, started cultivating and promoting the wines of Usini. Over the years the family has maintained an approach focused on the vineyard and local tradition, developing ranges that reinterpret the area's native varieties.

Production philosophy

A focus on hands-on vineyard work and respect for natural rhythms: production emphasizes the expression of the terroir through grape selection and winemaking that highlights the characteristics of Vermentino, Cagnulari and Cannonau.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards and winery are located in Usini, in northwest Sardinia, on hilly limestone soils, with vines situated at around 200 metres above sea level for some crus such as Tuvaoes.

Awards and recognitions
