Winery Château Gazin

The site was originally a hamlet; it is likely linked to a medieval hospital that gave its name to the estate’s second wine, 'l’Hospitalet de Gazin'. The current ownership remains tied to a family management mentioned in the estate’s historical records.

Hand harvesting and multiple stages of grape selection, separate fermentations by vineyard and variety, use of concrete tanks and aging in oak barrels to produce structured wines suitable for aging. The vineyard approach favors traditional methods with limited pesticide use and low‑impact practices.

Terroir located on the high terrace of the Pomerol plateau; soil composed of Günz gravels and a clayey subsoil that provides a regular water supply to the vines, a characteristic of the Pomerol plateau.
