Winery history Château de Montgueret

The Château de Montguéret complex is recorded as having been built in 1880. The property was associated with the Lacheteau family and, according to industry sources, the estate and its winemaking operations were sold to the Les Grands Chais de France group in 2005. Over time the label has become particularly known for the sparkling wines and rosés of the Saumur/Anjou area.
