Winery history Col di Lamo

Col di Lamo was born from Giovanna Neri’s personal experience: after inheriting part of the family vineyards, she began bottling under her own label in the early 2000s. The first releases reached the market in 2003, and the winery developed in the following years, consolidating a production recognized at both national and international levels.

Production philosophy

Production focused on elegant wines representative of the territory, with vineyards managed under certified organic farming and attention to respecting the landscape and the typicity of the grapes. The company's communication also highlights the winery's feminine and family dimension.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in Torrenieri in the hills of the Val d'Orcia, the vineyards sit at around 300 metres above sea level, primarily south-facing, on silty‑sandy soils with calcareous components and a good diurnal temperature range.

Awards and recognitions

Presence and scores in industry guides and specialist reviews; among commercial listings there is a high appreciation of the labels in international contexts.
