Winery history Domaine d'Eugénie

The domaine was established following the Pinault family's acquisition of Domaine René Engel in July 2006. Since 2009 the winemaking facilities and cellar have been located on Rue de la Goillote, in the centre of the village of Vosne‑Romanée, opposite the Clos d'Eugénie. Over the years the project has brought together parcels in various appellations of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.

Production philosophy

The winery is committed to respecting living systems and to pursuing the expression of the terroir; it works according to the principles of organic viticulture and biodynamic practices to enhance the specificity of each climat and enable the wines to reflect the identity of the soil.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyard parcels are located mainly in the communes of Vosne‑Romanée, Vougeot, Flagey‑Échezeaux, Nuits‑Saint‑Georges, Chambolle‑Musigny and Gevrey‑Chambertin, with additional holdings in Chassagne‑Montrachet and Meursault. The estate is situated in the Côte d'Or, the heart of Burgundy.
