Winery history Domaine Les Ormousseaux

In the 1980s the estate expanded into Pouilly‑Fumé (Tracy‑sur‑Loire) with parcels at La Roche and Les Froids. Clément Jolivet officially took over the domaine in April 2021; the 2024 vintage is noted on the domaine website as the first certified organic vintage.

Production philosophy

Organic viticulture and sustainable practices; a low-intervention winemaking approach to showcase the terroir: gentle whole-bunch pressing, separation of press fractions, fermentation in stainless tanks, 600L French oak barrels and 220L Wineglobes; aged one year on fine lees.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards: 13.89 ha of Pouilly‑Fumé at the La Roche lieu-dit (Tracy‑sur‑Loire). Two main parcels: Les Froids and Le champ de l'abreu, planted on former flint quarries; Cretaceous flint‑rich clay soils that give minerality and tension to the wines.
