Winery history Domaine Perrault-Jadaud

The project stems from a collaboration between Anne‑Cécile Jadaud, a winemaker trained and also active as a consultant and teacher, and Tanguy Perrault, trained in viticulture. The duo met at the Lycée Viticole d'Amboise and established the estate in 2009, settling in the Chançay area on the border of the Vouvray appellation. Over the years the property has expanded its vineyard holdings and, since 2018, has also extended production to red wines by sourcing grapes from local certified-organic growers.

Production philosophy

The approach prioritizes respect for the fruit and the terroir: organic or low-intervention agricultural practices, fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and low levels of sulfites in the cellar. The wines seek to express the diversity of soils in the Vouvray area with vinifications that range from stainless steel to light oak depending on the cuvée.

Terroir and vineyards

Appellation Vouvray, with parcels and viticultural work concentrated around Chançay and references to vineyards in the Vernou‑sur‑Brenne and Noizay areas; clay soils with flint present in some of the cited parcels.
